EXTENDING THE NISSAN WARRANTY - UP TO 6 YEARS

When investing in Nissan, new or used, you deserve a high level of certainty about the vehicle you've invested in.  Nissan's have a reputation for reliability and trouble-free motoring and you probably want maximum value from that reputation.

 

Investing in a Nissan Extended Warranty will help you continue that sense of certainty for future years.  Nissan's extended warranty covers your Nissan vehicles for parts, service repairs and other expenses, similar* to your initial New Vehicle Nissan Warranty cover. There are 2 options for you to select from:

 

OPTION 1: EXTRATIME

A  extension of time only - for 12 months, 24 months or 36 months - which provides warranty coverage for the selected period or otherwise expires when the vehicle has travelled 100,000 km from new, whichever occurs first.

 

This option is only available for purchase during the Nissan New Vehicle Warranty period, and may be particularly suited to Nissan owners who travel relatively low kilometres.

 

OPTION 2: EXTRADRIVE NEW

Extradrive New is a time and distance Nissan warranty extension which provides warranty coverage for the selected time period ( 12 months, 24 months or 36 months )- or otherwise expires when your Nissan travels a total distance of 150,000 km from new, whichever occurs first.

 

This option is only available for purchase during the Nissan New Vehicle Warranty period.

 

WARRANTY BENEFITS TO YOU:

Nissan will repair or replace all covered parts (plus all labour costs) - similar* cover to that provided by Nissan's New Vehicle Warranty.

 

24 Hour Roadside Assistance with associated benefits including:

 

Basic Assistance

Assistance for keys locked in your Nissan, a flat battery, a flat tyre, or running out of fuel.  Nissan will provide up to 5 litres of emergency fuel at no charge. Replacement batteries supplied via this service are at your cost.

 

Breakdown Assistance

If your vehicle breaks down or is not able to be driven safely, (other than as a result of theft or accident in either case), with your permission, Nissan will arrange for towing of your Nissan to the nearest Nissan Dealership Service or authorised repairer. If you lose your keys, Nissan will replace them at your cost.

 

Special Assistance

If your Nissan is stolen, or if you become ill or injured while driving your Nissan vehicle.

MAKING A NISSAN EXTENDED WARRANTY CLAIM:

The Nissan Extended Warranty is fully supported and administered by all authorised Australian Nissan Dealerships for your convenience.  If you need to make a claim, present or arrange for your Nissan to be taken to the service department of any Australian Nissan Dealership. The dealership's Nissan factory trained technicians will take care of the rest.  You have the additional security of knowing that the Nissan Dealership will use only Nissan Genuine Replacement Parts.  A Nissan extended warranty represents exceptional value because it ensures that your Nissan is repaired to the Nissan's specifications - which may contribut to enhanced resale value.  Nissan warranties will cover you wherever you drive throughout Australia.

ARE THERE ANY EXCLUSIONS TO THE NISSAN EXTENDED WARRANTY?:

Items not covered by the Nissan Extended Warranty are vehicle components such as batteries and tyres, non-genuine Nissan parts, accessories or equipment and normal maintenance and expendable items such as oil, grease and hoses.* Vehicles excluded from cover in particular circumstances include those used for hire, rental, courier, police, emergency or racing.*

 

The benefits conferred by a Nissan Extended Warranty are in addition to all other rights and remedies that the Nissan vehicle owner has under the Trade Practices Act, and State and Territory Laws.
